Nun also auch ein neues Thema zur Berserker Klasse. Beim Berserker konnte ich auch ein paar Fähigkeiten finden. Leider gibt es zu diesem keine Charakterbildschirm. Dafür gibt es aber ein offizielles Conzept Bild.

Den Berserker darf man nicht mit einem klassischen Tank verwechseln, auch wenn es sich um eine Nahkampf-Klasse handelt. Er kann zwei Waffen gleichzeitig tragen. Ob er auch ein Schild tragen kann weiß ich nicht, aber mit 2 Waffen gleichzeitig ist er wohl besser aufgehoben. Hier nochmal ein Zitat von einer News von uns, wo alles wichtig gesagt wurde.
Es handelt sich um den Berserker, einem Nahkämpfer. Er ist vor allem Meister der Waffen. Speziell für den Berserker wurde die neue Waffenart, die Klauen, in Torchlight 2 hinzugefügt. Diese Klauen sind sehr schnelle Waffen und der Berserker kann mit diesen sogar zwei Waffen gleichzeitig tragen. Gleichzeitig hat er aber auch einige magische Fähigkeiten mit denen er unter anderem die Geister einiger Tiere herbeirufen. Unter anderem ist ein Drache dabei, der mit seinem Feueratem eure Gegner in Asche verwandelt. Eine Wolfsgruppe, die ebenfalls vom Berserker beschworen wird, zerhackt eure Gegner in Kleinteile.
Und hier die Fähigkeiten die ich gefunden habe:
Eviscerate
Tear into alle enemies in front of you, leaving them to bleed to death.

- Inflicts 75% at Weapon Damage
- 35 Damage per Second for 5 Seconds

Wolfstrike
A brutal forward strike
Rank 2/10:
- +16-20 Damage
- 55% Chance to Stun for 4 Seconds
- +22 Knockback

Drake`s Breath
Hold down the mouse button to unleash a continuous blast of searing flames.
Rank 2/10:
- +7-13 Fire Damage
- 17% Chance to Burn Target for 3 seconds.

Hier mal ein Auszug davon, was die Skills (momentaner Stand bei der PAX) betrifft ...
  • Eviscerate: Tear into all enemies in front of you, leaving them to bleed to death. Requires a melee weapon equipped in the right hand. Mana Cost: 21, Inflicts 75% of Weapon DPS, 42 Damage per Second for 4 Seconds. This seemed effective, but it was not something I would typically spam. I would do it once or twice when multiple monsters were in front of me and then let the DOT damage them while I switch to normal attacks.
  • Wolfstrike: A brutal lunging attack, damaging all foes in your path. Mana Cost: 24, Inflicts 50% of Weapon DPS, +92-112 Damage, 62% Chance to Stun for 3 seconds, +39 Knockback. This skill was what I used to open every attack. Interestingly, it is most effective when you slam through the front edge of a group and end up in the center. It fits with the Berserker's on the edge persona.
  • Howl: A beastly roar fills nearby foes with terror, slowing their attacks and lowering their defenses. Range: 8 meters, Mana Cost: 24, 52% Slower Movement for 9 seconds, 52% Slower Attack for 9 seconds, 52% Slower Cast Speed for 9 seconds, Physical & Elemental Damage Taken is Increased by 33% for 9 seconds. I am loving the new percentage based debuffs. This skill is amazing for crowd control and completely neuters a group of monsters. It's kind of like the Outlander's blade pact, but its point blank AOE origin makes it designed for someone in the center. I already plan on getting this with my first Berserker.
  • Frenzied Retaliation: Retaliate against enemies who engage you in melee combat range. Damage is 120% of current weapon's DPS. Minimum time between attacks 1.8 seconds. This is an example of both the new triggered attack system and the new plan for more class specific passive abilities. It fits the Berserker's playing style of always being in the center of the action. Interestingly, this was only the rank 2 version of the skill. It looks like the rank 10 version will be able to retaliate every .2 seconds (or 5 hits a second) which could add some serious DPS to any melee Berserker build.
  • Wolf Shade: Summons an Northern Wolf shade to aid you in battle. Mana Cost:20. Perhaps the coolest looking companion ever and with only one rank, I don't see any Berserker's skipping it. This skill will probably be the the level five investment for the vast majority of players.
  • Wolf pack: Releases a pack of shadow wolves that savage enemies near and far. Damage specified is for each attacking wolf. Mana Cost: 30, Inflicts 35% of Weapon DPS, +45-78 Damage. This is a beautiful skill to behold. A nova of wolves spread out from the character and each one locked onto enemies. I am really loving the fact that most of these skills contain a Weapon DPS component this time around. This design allows for end-game weapons to give a substantial boost to every build type.
  • Northern Rage: The Berserker's northern aspect sends forth shards of ice to freeze and pierce foes. Mana cost: 40, Inflicts 20% of Weapon DPS, +197 Ice Damage, 80% chance to Freeze Target for 3 seconds. This worked well against packs of monsters to give the Berserker a bit of breathing space. Targeted horizontal pillars of frost spread out from center and froze the enemies solid. I would usually follow up with a wolf pack to finish them if mana permitted.
  • Frost Breath: Hold down the mouse button to unleash a continuous blast of icy breath. Mana Cost: 23 per second, Inflicts 20% of Weapon DPS, +100-145 Ice Damage, 29% Chance to Freeze Target for 3 seconds. I didn't use this as much as the other skills, but it worked a lot like inferno from D2 with the added benefit of freezing monsters. I managed to kill a couple packs with it before I ran out of mana.

Der Berserker

Die Raserei des Berserkers steigert sich solange bis er sie nicht mehr kontrollieren kann. Wenn sie voll aufgeladen ist, werden alle Angriffe des Berserkers kritisch treffen, sodass die wenigsten Gegner ein Hindernis sind.
